Please join us next week on Wednesday, August 9th for our Kindergarten Kickoff Event! 


This year we are excited to announce that we will participate in a pilot program for a comprehensive primary grades curriculum called the Great First Eight, authored by Professor Nell Duke.

As a "vanguard school," we will be implementing the program this year in our Kindergarten classes, followed by 1st grade and 2nd grade in SY25 and SY26. As a result, in lieu of the typical Kindergarten meet and greet playdate, we are asking parents to join us here at Chappell for a presentation about the program, school/classroom walkthrough, and Q&A session for guardians.

Chappell Kindergarten and GF8 Kick Off:

Chappell Cafeteria and Playground

2:45pm-3:00pm Supply Drop Off
3:00pm-3:45pm GF8 Slide Presentation for all, Cafeteria
3:45pm-4:15pm Q&A for guardians, (Kindergartners to playground)
4:15pm-4:30pm Building walk/classroom visits for guardians
4:30pm-5:00pm Playground Social for all
